Kids' Community Clinics & Workshops
The Virginia Key Outdoor Center is dedicated to serving the community of the Greater Miami area. We seek to offer free and affordable skills clinics and workshops to children in the community to ensure that each child gets an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and develop a passion for conservation and environmentalism. We operate our clinics and workshops with small group sizes in order to provide individual support through the child's educational journey.
Fishing Clinic
This Fishing Clinic is designed to introduce children to fishing and hopefully cultivate a new passion for the Outdoors and Marine Conservation. Upon completion of the clinic, children will take home complimentary rods, reels, and tackle boxes.

Bicycle Safety Clinic
This clinic aims to improve bicycle safety and promote wellness. Children will gain the opportunity to meet with professional athletes that share a passion for the sport of cycling. Children will learn about cycling basics, rules of the road, and more! Drills and games are incorporated into the curriculum to make it a fun and immersive experience.

The Outdoor Classroom
We are dedicated to provide educational opportunities to children through engaging outdoor learning environments and activities. The Outdoor Classroom at the Virginia Key Outdoor Center offers several lessons and activities addressing topics like gardening, conservation, nature observation, and more.
